I am currently a 4th grade literacy teacher but I have also taught 2nd and 3rd grade. I am very passionate about helping children become well mannered and lifelong learners. I feel that even as adults we are constantly learning and that children are the best teachers. Sometimes as adults we just have to step back and soak in the honesty and wholeheartedly approach towards everything that children have. Throughout my college experience I watched a 7 year old daily after school. I was responsible for ensure his safety too and from school events, play dates, entertaining with non-technological devices and occasional overnights. Throughout the beginning of my teaching career, I was a family assistant in which I cooked well balanced dinners nightly, scheduled and attended doctors appointments, kept track of grades, monitored children's chores and occasionally stayed over night. I love the light in their eyes when they learn or solve something for the first time.
