My name is Lydia Scott and I am a 19 year old student at UNC Charlotte. Growing up in a family with 4 siblings I have lots of experience taking care of children. Aside from this, I have also been working and volunteering at my local churches daycare in the infant section, toddler section, and elementary aged section since I was 15. I have taken three college level courses on child development and care, along with this I am CPR certified, very well trained and very attentive. I have babysat for multiple families for 3 day weekends and for vacations, along with normal hours. Rather than just watching or allowing the kids I babysit to play video games or be on electronics the whole time, I enjoy engaging with children whom I babysit by doing things such as playing outside, going to the park, playing board games, helping with homework, Read more etc. I really enjoy being an influence in children's lives because I believe that their futures are shaped at these young ages. I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in elementary teaching studies, so helping and guiding people is a passion of mine. My class schedule does not take up too much of my time and I am very flexible with hours.
