Hi! My name is Karissa and I am a pre-nursing student at UNC Charlotte. My passion for nursing goes hand in hand with my passion for people, specifically kids. I have always loved interacting with children and watching them grow and experience new things. I love working with kids so much that I’ve volunteered as staff for UNC Charlotte’s chapter of College Mentors for Kids as a general manager and now as the Vice President of Fundraising. I look forward to finding a family that I can serve for the remainder of my college career (the next 2-3 years) and grow and learn along side them.
