I am a recent college graduate who loves to be outside and stay active! I enjoy sports, especially soccer as I played up until my sophomore year of high school, but I also love to sit down and read a good book or do a new puzzle. Art is another passion of mine and painting is a fun way to fill my time. I also love pets and have been working with children for many years. I have babysat for many families throughout high school and on the weekends in college. I have worked as a youth counselor for 3 years so I know all the fun games and I have experience with disciplining as well. I was also a head camp counselor in my final year. As a Head Youth Counselor, I was responsible for planning and implementing activities that are culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate. While adhering to Read more program standards and all risk management policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergencies, I was able to make sound judgments and remain calm in challenging situations. I exemplified strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills and communicated effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions. I am certified in CPR and have received first-aid and emergency medicine administration training.
