I'm a Junior at East Carolina University. I'm in my first semester of Nursing school too! I've had experience working in the hospital with older patients, but my pediatric/neonatal rotation is next semester. Being a nursing student, I've had training in CPR and First Aid, along with a babysitting certification class. Being a nursing student also makes me have to balance my time extremely well between the 4:30 wake up calls, 9 hour class days, and lack of sleep. Nursing is what I want to do, so I stick with it. Spending time with friends or family out on the lake or in Birkdale are my favorite ways to spend summers. Having an indoor day is fun too, but I love spending time outside when I can. I'm comfortable with kids, babies, and adults of any age. I'm the oldest out of 14 cousins, so, I've done a lot of Read more babysitting :) Spending time with my little cousins is one of my favorite things to do. If I'm with my cousins, we cook alot, play outside, kick the soccer ball around, or fill up our with whatever we think of. Throughout high school I would babysit three boys every Sunday. We always had fun together and we continue to keep up with each other. My cousins have definitely influenced my love for kids and that's why I want to work with them. Becoming a little family with the kiddos I take of is important to me!
