Involvement in the childcare field has spanned generations in my family. My grandmother operated an in-home community day care center, my mother has worked in a Child Development Center for nearly 2 decades, my sister followed suit and so have I. I've spent years volunteering at a Church in Charlotte helping Lead Teachers and then in HS, I was given the opportunity to actually work in the Nursery, taking care of children that ranged from newborns to school aged. I believe that the success of an individual is rooted in the experiences, nurture and care they are afforded as children.
