I grew up in the foster care system at a very young age. At 12 I moved to a children's home where there were all types of ages from birth to 20+ years old. I traveled with a choir that included mothers and babies, so I often watched the babies of the mothers who sang sometimes. I attended college and needed employment so I babysat my cousin's children who were 3 and 7 months at the time. After I left college I moved in with my sister who had a new born son. I was able to help care for him from birth until now and he is 2 years old currently. I have no CPR certifications which I know isnt a plus, however I do have a genuine love for children. Growing up and seeing how me and so many others in the foster care system needed genuine care, Read more I understand how important it is to care for children whether they are yours or not. I also understand the importance of parents who need reliable and dependable people to help with their children because of work sometimes. After all, the parents are working to provide for the children! I do not have my own car, but if there are in home babysitters needed I have no problem getting there!
