My name is Jatasha and I live in Fuquay Varina with my husband, my two daughters (ages 4 & 7) and my son (4 months). I own and operate a motivational and empowerment company called I Am On Purpose. Our mission is to add value, encourage, and bring hope to every person we serve. The reasons I decided to sign up for Sittercity was because I know how important it was for me to have quality, trustworthy, and flexible childcare; now it is my turn to offer that same kind of service and make some extra income, while I build my empowerment company. My background is in Sales/Corporate America until 2 years ago when I decided to walk away and pursue my own company full time, be available for my children and all of their extracurricular activities, and other people's families when they had a childcare needs. I am a volunteer fo the preschool/ toddler age children at our church (they also do background checks) and I volunteer at my daughter's school (they also do background checks before you can volunteer in the school). I am available for short notice sitting, transporting children to/from afterschool activities, afterschool care, as a backup/fill-in, and if you are stuck in traffic/ a meeting, you have an appointment, you need a break. I can pick up your child or sit with them until you arrive. Most of the time I will have my 4 month old son with me, and depending on the day when my children are out of school they will be with me while I am caring for your children. I have a minivan so there is plenty of room for everyone. I treat everybody's children the same way I would want mine treated, with love, care, and respect. I pay attention to detail and conversations, I correct anything that seems inappropriate, I do not spank my children and will not spank yours. I am very attentive and listen to each child's needs.
