My name is Jennifer Taylor. I am a white, 33yr old mother of 2 beautiful children who are 8 & 9 yrs old. I have been married for 8 yrs, we are baptist & attend church at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Gastonia. We just moved to Kings Mtn, NC from Gastonia, due to opening up a new gym called Crossfit Kings Mtn with our business partner. My husband still works full time,& I still work part time. I went to college at McDowell Tech in Marion NC because I am originally from Asheville NC. I studied coding, & medical assistant. I moved to Gastonia NC in 2001 & went on to work at multiply Drs offices until I came upon a company where I learned & worked with pharmaceuticals. I was there 6yrs then insurance wouldn't pay for the drug & 10 of us got laid off. At this time Read more I turned to working with kids as a Teachers Assistant & teaching the computer classes at my kids charter school for 3 years. We decided to move to Kings Mtn last year in July 2014 to be closer to our business & so I stopped working at the Charter school. The past 2 summers I have babysat other people's children for the summer to supplement my income. I would keep them with me at my home due to me having my kids. We would go & do a lot of fun activities but I would also teach them things throughout the day. I'm a organizer/ planner I like to keep things running smoothly :) I work now part time for a prvt Luthern preschool. I make the lesson plans for our teachers & I'm one of the teachers in our mothers morning out programs. I love children, I always have. I grew up around babies & people always told me you will be a great mother one day. So ,as majority of families who need 2 full time incomes, after kids were born I had to continue on full time at my job which included traveling. I just didn't get a lot of time with my children when they were little but I felt comfort in knowing they were being taken very well care of by one of my friends mom during the day. She coached & taught my children everything in order to be prepared for preschool at age 2. Even, though today I miss the adult interaction & money that came along with my pharmaceutical jobs I wouldn't take back the time I have received with my children in the past 4 years now. But the reason for me posting here is to potentially find a family whom I could help out make life just a little easier as my sitter did mine when my kids were small. I have awesome sitters now myself. Us moms and dads need breaks too.. Xoxo
