After I graduated high school, I worked at a center for children with developmental disabilities for about a year and a half. While working there I also assisted in taking care of my grandpa who had advanced alzheimers, diabetes, loss of hearing and sight, and was bedridden as well before receiving military orders to North Carolina alongside my husband. My last jobs in NC were both related to child care! I worked with a military respite care program where I would provide relief for military families with special needs children and was a nanny as well. The children I nannied for were 2,1 and 3 months when I started. The oldest child had seizures. The job was amazing and I loved being able to hang out with the kids all day. Their mom is one of my references and can testify that I was a good fit for the job! Read more I also watched other children on weekends and the off days I had here and there and pet sat occasionally as well! I have no problem with transportation or with any sort of pets- furry, scaley, etc is all welcome! I do have my own car and do have base access if you are on base!
