As of December 16, I will have a bachelor's degree in elementary education, with a concentration in child studies. I am currently finishing up my internship in a Kindergarten classroom with a seasoned teacher, in Greenville NC. I have been working with children elsewhere for at least 5 years through babysitting, practicum experiences, an after school program, internships, children's church, and working specifically with an autistic child as a community skills instructor. I have cared for infants between 5-9 months old and children ages 3-11. Ever since I was a senior in high school (almost 5 years ago), I have committed my heart and life to caring for and teaching children. Although the profession I am pursuing is an elementary teacher, there will be a long process to attaining a license.
