My name is Briana and I am 23 years old. My husband works at Vidant. I have spent the last couple of years in nursing school at ECU, but this last Fall had a change of heart. I did complete my pediatric course and pediatric clinical rotation prior to major change. I will pursue an Associates in ASL Education in the Fall. I have babysat off and on since I was a teenager. I am CPR certified. I have watched up to four children at a time. I also have experience as a camp counselor where I was responsible for a cabin of eleven year old girls each summer for four years. I have worked with youth ministry and children's ministry. I have helped supervise toddlers at the church for the annual children's Christmas play. I help my husband teach children's church on occasion. I have chaperoned teenagers on mission Read more trips and to theme parks. I am the oldest of six siblings which has aided in my experience of child care. I previously had my CNA and worked in an assisted living facility as a shower aide. I no longer have my CNA but I have found changing baby diapers is much easier than changing adult diapers. I previously worked as a lead academic mentor where I equipped students with study skills and aided them in academic success. I love kids. I have no problem helping tidy up after the kids, crafting, cooking, reading, playing, and helping kids with homework.
