Hi there! My name is Kaiti, and I would be super excited to work with and get to know your child! I have over 5 years experience babysitting and care giving. I graduated from Duke University with honors and a degree in Psychology in May 2013. While at Duke, I babysat for families with children with autism, worked as a developmental therapist/direct care worker for a child with autism, and also worked as a camp counselor at Camp Royall, a residential camp for individuals with autism spectrum disorders. While I have many experiences working with children with autism, these opportunities also gave me experiences working with children with ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and a myriad of other developmental and intellectual disabilities. This past year I worked as a research assistant at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, coordinating a research project investigation a theatre intervention for children with high functioning autism. Read more I am now back in North Carolina, taking class part-time at UNC, and working part time while preparing to go back to graduate school for Occupational Therapy. I love being super active when working with kids and teens and enjoy planning activities, and taking part in and learning about their interests!
