Hi! My name is Kayla Ekstrom and I am actually 15 years old. I know I sound very young, but I have worked with children for the past 3 years. I serve in Children's Ministry at New Hope Church with 2--all the way to 8--year olds, so I have experience with all ages. I have baby-sat for friends and family before and love children. I have also worked with a Summer Camp in North Carolina, and that was with 5-6 year olds. I like to consider myself a big child myself so I fit right in with the kids. My family and close friends say I am a very creative person, so I could easily come up with some games/crafts for myself and your child(ren) to do. I have pet-sat in my neighborhood of Churton Grove before multiple times as well. I am looking for a job so that I Read more can raise money to take a trip to England and Scotland with my high school next year to get credits for my classes. I am also a local resident of Hillsborough, I have lived here for 12 years, and I go to Orange High School as a responsible straight A student. One more thing about myself is that I am trained in First Aid, CPR, and even Heimlich Manuver. My older sister is also a Pediatric Nurse for Duke Hospital so if, God forbid, there is an emergency I have her on speed dial!
