I have worked part-time for Priorities ABA, PLLC as an ABA tutor for children with autism for 6 years. I have also worked with a variety of children with other special needs including Down Syndrome, ADHD, and physical disabilities. I am not limited to providing special needs care, but my experience demonstrates my ability to handle just about any situation or behavior issue I might face. I am also certified in first aid and CPR. I can even help with potty training if needed. I am not a typical babysitter that watches TV or is on the phone while the kids play alone. I enjoy actively engaging with the children while they are in my care. I would describe myself as patient, outgoing, fun, and diligent. I have a degree in Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis and Childhood Development. My hourly rate is $10/hour for up to Read more 2 children, $12/hour for 3 or more children, both with a $20 minimum (due to travel expenses). My rate isn't necessarily "cheap" but it's because of the quality of care your child/children will receive. My schedule for my part-time job is Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 6:30pm, so I am available before or after those times.

Today was the "introduction" day to let my 18-month-old daughter get to know Kaitlyn and vice versa. My daughter was enamored with her almost immediately! Kaitlyn got down onto her level and engaged her while she was playing, and my daughter seemed to be having the time of her life! What really sold me was that my daughter gave Kaitlyn "Lammie," her special snuggle toy, a privilege usually reserved for only Mom and Dad. It was then that I knew Kaitlyn was the one for us!
