My mother ran her own daycare, at the age 12 I was responsible for children between 0-6 years and when they weren't in school ages 0-10+. My responsibilities were changing diapers, giving meals, naps, played outside, sang and danced and read to them, taught basic learning skills such as reading, math, manners and bathroom trained. After graduating from WCU with a BSW I pursued taking care of children. I was a nanny for a year and a half for one family in Western North Carolina. I was sad I had to leave as their kids and the family became family to me, but life was taking me on the path to move back here to Raleigh NC. I still keep in contact with the family. Some things about me is I love kids and I love to have fun with kids. I love the outdoors and to teach. Music and Read more dance are huge passions of mine and I love to enjoy it with people. I graduated college with my Bachelor in Social Work with my focus on child development and adolescent development.
