My most shining example of child care is my two grown children. I have enjoyed almost thirty years as a mom. From the start I have been an advocate and example of education, literacy, fairness, and non-bias for my children. My youngest child is in her second year of college and will be on the Dean's list this semester as usual. My oldest child is gifted with a very high IQ but has also suffered with ADHD. Through team work and love we have learned to handle it. My work over the past sixteen years has been in the child care and early education field. In fact my most recent position was with the NC DIvision of Child Care and Early Education. I have worked diligently in my career to assist child care facilities and staff in meeting not only regulations but a higher learning atmosphere.
