I've had the pleasure of working with children for 15+ years in various capacities such as babysitting, live-in nannying, substitute teaching and lead guide at a Montessori summer camp. Most recently, I was a live-in nanny for a family with 5 children and enjoyed getting to know the entire family and building a lasting relationship with them. Every component of childcare is fascinating to me-- from the fundamental acts of watching a child walk and talk for the first time or helping a child learn to read, to the mundane recovery of a child's missing sock while doing the laundry. I'm grateful to work with children for the opportunity to laugh, discover, live in the moment, and to work on the imperative lessons of patience and unconditional love. I'm currently working as a Nursing Assistant and Newborn Hearing Technician at the hospital before starting nursing school this fall.
