Hi! My name is Kayla Lankford and I am a student at Winston-Salem State University. I am 19 years old. My major is nursing and I would like to work in pediatrics. I have been a waitress for 3 years at Checkers Grill and Grocery. I am trying to do extra side jobs to try to make more money for college. I do attend a Baptist church where I have volunteered doing many different things. I have played the piano at my church, I teach preschoolers on Sunday morning, I donate canned goods, I have been to West Virginia where I have volunteered to help make tracts for witnessing, and I have cleaned. I have babysat for many children. I have volunteered at Horizon Residential Center. At Horizon Residential Center, I worked with children who have varying disabilities. At the residential center, I read books to children who are either Read more blind and/or deaf. I teach a preschool Sunday School class. In the Sunday School, class we sing songs, play with puppets, do crafts, color, and do the Bible story.
