I have always had pets, love dogs mostly, at the present time can't have dog where we live. We have 2 cats & I am allergic to cats but I don't care to the point of not having them. Never thought cats were superior to dogs & still don't, but I have taught our siamese how to fetch & bring back to me, (that is the hardest part) hair ties. Not rubber bands - but she will if they are colored?? Now we have another cat, a male who we took away from mother too soon- but we were told by someone that the cats would be thrown into the persons fishing lake if the mom didn't get fixed. We didn't even know people & went to Statesville to find. Everything turned out okay with siblings & mother cat, but we could not take the chance. They both think they Read more are like us - human. And by the by, they are both spoiled, but we are repaid believe it or not by these two strange but can't live without animals. Have had many dogs over the years & each time we lose, I promise myself never to get another. Our last dog passed in 2005. I have been ready for another for about 5 years.
