Hi My name is Laura Ireland and I am a teacher assistant in Union County schools. Presently I am working a preschool classroom with both typical and special needs students. Prior to working in the preschool classroom I was in a classroom with autistic students for six years. I have been there for almost 11 years and prior to that I was an assistant at Metro school in Charlotte in the autistic transitioning classroom. I have provided services ( respite ,supported living) for many years for individuals with special needs. I have also worked for agencys such as Autism Services Of Mecklenburg County and LifeSPan(StMarks).
