I really liked Mukta during the interview process and think she would make an excellent babysitter. She was willing to drive my children, cook, and clean if need be. I tested her out driving with her to the school and all went well. I paid for a background check and with less than 24 hrs notice of starting work, she informed me that she could not take the job as her other employer was not willing to be flexible with her adding hours she needed for another job. This question was asked specifically during the interview process. There was no offer to pay me for the background check and although she professed to be very sorry and I believe her, it does not change the fact that my expectations were very clear and unmet in the end.
