Hello, I have been a professional childcare provider for 11+ years. I am looking for a full-time position with children between the ages of 0 - 16 years. My last live-in nanny position was with a family in Durham, NC. I stayed with the family for 4 wonderful years. Caring for 4 adopted children between the ages of 12 mos and 6 years old when I arrived. My most recent experience has been working with autistic children at an elementary school in Florida (K-5th grade). Unfortunately, I had to resign from my position due to my husbands promotion and our relocation to Morrisville, NC. I have also worked for the before- and after school program in Tampa, FL; as well as in a daycare facility in Germany for 2 years, 2 families in Boston, as a Cultural Care AuPair and after my program ended I started working for the above Read more mentioned family in Durham as a live-in Nanny. I also took on date-night babysitting jobs and my client list quickly grew by great referrals of the different families I had the pleasure to work for. The safety of the children is always of utmost importance to me. I love to help children learn and grow on a cognitive and physical level. A typical day consist of engaging the children in fun educational activities, arts and crafts and physical outdoor exercises. While teaching them kindness, sharing, compassion and life skills. I love taking the children on fun trips to the museum and incorporate lots of outdoor playtime. I am always on time, flexible with my schedule, reliable, trustworthy, organized and creative. I cook healthy meals and bake with the children following recipes. I am an experienced, safe driver and I do have my own reliable transportation with a clean driving history and current insurance.
