I am currently a nanny for 3 boys; they are 7, 9, and 10. I have been with my current family for 7 years. I started one month before the youngest child was born. I am responsible for light housekeeping, the boys' laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, and taking the boys to and from school. I also help them with homework and projects. I plan their after school activities and any type of summer camps that they wish to enroll in. As the boys have gotten older and more self-sufficient, I have also become more of a personal assistant/household manager for their parents. Prior to working for this family, I worked as a nanny in college. I took care of two children. The oldest was a girl, and the younger one was a boy. He was special needs. I was responsible for after school care of the oldest child. I Read more helped with homework and planned her after school activities. As for her younger brother, I was trained to administer is medications and bathe him. I would sometimes take him to the park or to play dates with his friends. I did take a CPR & First Aid class when I started with my first family. If another family prefers that I take a more recent class, I can do so.
