I love babysitting because it gives me an opportunity to really get a firsthand experience on children, and they’re all so different in their own ways. I’m yet to find a child who doesn’t like me. I really enjoy engaging kids in conversation, activities, games, art projects. I grew up with younger brothers and my mom babysat other kids. I have babysat on my own before newborns and up. I’ve taken the red cross babysitting course twice as well as a parenting and child development course. I am an artist so I often will offer to make crafts with the kids or paint, if they’re not interested that’s fine too of course. I’m very confident in my abilities to babysit anyone’s child, I’ve pretty much seen it all.
