I have 8 year old adopted daughter.  I have babysat for friends and taught Sunday School and Bible Club for 10 years.  I worked in the nursery at my church (St Mark's United Methodist in Raleigh) for 5 years until my daughter outgrew it.  I had to quit nursery since she would have no where to go while I worked there. That was in 2209. I have recently rejoined the nursery since my husband can watch her during church when I'm working.  I have taken vacation about 10 times to teach Vacation Bible school at my church.  I love kids.    We have 3 dogs, a cat and a guinea pig and am also an experienced pet sitter, so animals are not an issue for me.  I did have a 16 year old dog that I put down in 2008 that had epilepsy, dementia, back issues, etc and was put down when she stopped eating.  I can handle health issues that come Read more up w/out freaking out.  I have been thrown up on, peed on, messy diaper leaked on and know that is part of being a kid.  My daughter has used an inhaler in the past, so I do know something about those.      I am background checked through my church to work w/ the kids there and will be updating my CPR and first aid thru them soon.
