I have been involved in child care for about ten years. My experience began with foster children placed in my family’s care... this helped me realize my love for children and how I can make a difference in the lives around me. I’m genuinely enthusiastic about play time and am always completely involved in whatever the kids want and/or need to do. I’m most comfortable with children around 7 months and older. I studied elementary education for two years, but eventually graduated with a B.A. degree in Geography. Despite my specific education, caregiving is what I am called to do. I recently worked as a personal care aide in a group home for adults with I/DD. I am first aid and CPR certified.
