I grew up in Michigan, the Great Lake state, where my love for nature, running, and camping began. I try to be active when I have the time; hiking, running, stretching, and anything else that might be good for my body. I am a very kind, caring, and upbeat person. I love to play, read, have kids use their imagination, do puzzles, and run around the yard for fun. I have been surrounded by children my entire life. I grew up with younger brothers, nieces, nephews, and was babysitting by the time I was 12 for families in our neighborhood. I always loved kids so much I thought about becoming a preschool teacher - which I studied for about a year and a half. I stopped to travel to the west coast - where I became a nanny for two wonderful boys that were 6 months old and 2 years Read more old. I learned quickly how to multitask, as I not only watched the boys but cleaned, watered the gardens, and milked and fed their herd of goats. I left the west coast to travel some more and to come to Asheville, NC to attend the Center for Massage, and pursue a career in Massage Therapy.
