I am a North Carolina native who recently moved back to North Carolina after living in Kentucky for approximately five years. While in Kentucky I decided to make a change in my career path from being a paralegal to becoming a nurse. I have now graduated from nursing school, and am studying for the NCLEX exam. Upon passing the NCLEX I will be a Registered Nurse. While attending middle school, high school and college in North Carolina during the 1990's, I babysat for numerous families in the Triangle area. I cared for children of all ages, from newborns to pre-teens. More recently, while attending nursing school I worked as a caregiver for both children and the elderly. My experience with children was as a babysitter in their homes, while my experience with the elderly was in a clinical setting that specialized in caring for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other Read more cognitive dysfunctions. I am hoping to find employment as a RN at the end of the summer, but am looking for occasional/temporary work as either a babysitter or caregiver in the interim. I am a nurturing and compassionate person who enjoys caring for others, and am also a very reliable and responsible person who treats my commitment to those for whom I caring with the utmost importance.
