I am currently working in a treatment facility for women with substance abuse disorders and their infant children. Many of my job duties involve carrying for the children throughout the day. I have a history of babysitting from the time I was 17 until about 21. I cared for three children, ages 1, 3, and 5. Within my family, I am the aunt of 6 nieces and nephews, ages 1-10 (which I have cared for many times throughout the years.) While attending college at East Carolina University, I volunteered with the autism society with children with spectrum disorders in an adapted physical education setting. I have also volunteered with other programs in college involving children. I am certified in CPR and First Aid training as well.
