Hello families, *My name is Megan and I am looking to provide child care for a family in NORTH CAROLINA who is need of my help. *I am reliable, trust worthy, energetic, fun, creative, and extremely lovable. *I have a squeaky clean background and driving history. *I do not smoke, I am pet friendly, and willing to take care of errands around the house or as needed. *I have 10+ experience as a paid nanny, with references available upon request. *I currently am a student taking online courses majoring on my second degree in Family Development (Social Work). *My days and hours are very FLEXIBLE. Some of my experience involves: *Part-time into full-time nanny 2001-2009: I cared for 2 boys (brothers) 3 weeks old and 4 years old up until the ages 8 and 12. Responsibilities would include minor house chores, taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, laundry, changing diapers, Read more giving them both baths, maintaining their personal hygiene, cooking and preparing food, waking them up for school as they got old enough to attend as well as putting them to bed in a timely fashion. I also helped them with their homework and set up snacks, nap and play times through out the day. The oldest boy was autistic and the youngest had ADHD so I am experienced with taking care of children with special needs. *Part time Nanny Oct of 2009- Jan of 2012: I was a nanny to twin boys from 2 months old to 2 and a half. Responsibilities were changing diapers, teaching them their ABC's, number’s, how to read, cooking, giving them a bath, potty training, and taking them out when weather permitted. I also attended to the needs of the house such as taking out the garbage, doing laundry, washing the dishes, and organizing the house. My shift was 50 to 60 hours a week (or as needed). *Last job- Part time Nanny Sept. 4 2013- Feb 13, 2015 Left this job due to my families recent home purchase from NJ to NC. I have watched the now 1 yr old and 2 yr old baby boys from when the oldest was 6 months. Megan worked for my family when we needed last minute assistance for a short period of time. She was always easy to communicate with and super easy to work with. She was very professional and attentive with our children. She was a parent helper, so we witnessed her getting very involved in active play with our toddler from the time she arrived until she left. From the moment she met him, she immediately engaged with him. I really can not say enough good things about her. My only hesitation in writing this is that it will limit her availability to help us out if we need it in the future!
