Well, I have 12 younger siblings so that should say a lot! Growing up with all these younger sibling was yes, hard, and a lot of responsibility was put on me to be the best role model and big brother I could be. Yes, I made mistakes but I believe having this blessing has made me a great person who can be trusted with any duties thrown my way. I also have taught in several dance studios around the area of New Hanover and Brunswick counties. With this job I also had the responsibility of driving the students to and from school and/or home which I took very seriously with car seats, meal options/allergies/diet plans, and overall safety of the precious cargo. This being said, I have always respected each parents wishes on how to handle their child's needs simply due to the fact that every child is different and special in their own certain way. Besides being a dance teacher for all ages at studios here in the area, I have also worked at many types of summer camps around the state of NC. Anywhere from a farm camp to a marine biology camp. I was a counselor at all of these camps and loved every minute of it. It was the best way, I think, to spend my summer vacations. I have also had the incredible opportunity to work for the leading entertainment company in the world, Disney Cruise Line (Walt Disney Company.) I have had the chance to work with Mr. Mickey Mouse himself along with all of his friends on the lovely re-imagined Disney Magic cruise ship. I was a Mainstage Performer in the beautiful Walt Disney Theatre onboard the ship. With this company we had to undergo immense training on how to handle children, especially the ones who come from extreme different cultural backgrounds then ourselves. This opportunity taught me a lot about child care and I sometimes got to work with the Youth Activities counselors in the child care spaces which was such a magical and rewarding experience to see all of their faces light up when they see all of our Disney friends come into the spaces and into their lives. While babysitting I am fully available and game for almost anything, it's truly up to you guys, or the child with what we end up doing while I am working. I love going on walks, cooking, playing games, and going to the park to just name a few. Thank You
