Hi, my name is Emily Vankirk. I'm a freshman at UNCW, and I am majoring in Nursing. I'm originally from West Virginia, but moved to Wilmington nearly three years ago. I'm the youngest of four, but I have two nieces and a nephew that I have had lots of experience babysitting. I became an aunt at age fifteen and absolutely fell in love with spending time with my nephew. That love for children has just grown throughout my teen years, with each addition to the family, and with each child I have been lucky enough to babysit. Children are our future and I feel that it is a true honor to be entrusted with their hearts and minds for any amount of time.

We are so lucky to have found Emily! My six-month old daughter adores her and breaks into a huge smile whenever Emily comes to babysit. They enjoy playing games, singing songs, and reading books together. Emily is conscientious, organized, and knowledgeable about infant care and so I feel at ease knowing that my little one is in good, caring hands when I’m away. I highly recommend Emily!
