I am a Licensed Clinical Afdictions Specialist and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, who facilitates a weekly group on parenting and fundamental skills for effective parenting/healthy child development. I have been well trained on the human child development span from birth to gerontology. I love children, the elderly, and pets. I spend a lot of time with my young cousins and have volunteered both for children with special needs and elderly adults in assisted living facilities. I have an ability to build rapport with people of all ages. I am extremely patient and am not easily angered or distraught. I am currently CPR, first aid, and NCIA (de-escalation strategies) trained, and renew these trainings upon their expiration consistently. I demonstrate on a daily basis my ability to accommodate my approach to people's needs; flexibility and adaptability are skills that are vital to the babysitter/caregiver as one must meet the parent's and Read more the child's requests/needs. I am responsible for people's lives on a daily basis, consequence of error in my line of work is tremendous, and I hope that this makes me a better candidate to meet your needs. Though I work a full time job, my hours at work are flexible, as I am able to leave most days by two or four pm, and do not work weekends.
