Greetings! My name is Ian W. - a 25-year-old MALE (hope that is OK!) Wake Forest Graduate undergoing a career transition in search of nanny/childcare work. My history with kids began with tutoring underprivileged kids in high school and college where I discovered I love teaching! After leaving my most recent job, I traveled to Costa Rica to volunteer at an educational daycare center for underprivileged children ages 2-12. While volunteering, I was responsible for organizing daily classes and activities based on weekly or daily themes (example: nutrition/health, science, math, arts and crafts, sports, etc.). I fell in love with the high-energy of all of all my kids, and enjoyed the challenge of organizing activities that were both educational and fun for the different age groups of children.
