Hello, My name is Laura Stephens. I am 20 years old, happily married to my high school sweetheart for two years now, and mother to our (just turned 1 year old) son. I absolutely LOVE children and have always wanted to go into the babysitting/nannying work force. I have been babysitting the children of my family and friends for over 8 years. I have plenty of experience with newborns to kindergartners, being as most of the children I watched were in between those ages. I have watched multiple children at a time(up to 5) with no problems, and with much enjoyment on both parties. I love to be active, whether it be playing on the floor with my son, reading together, going on walks or singing and dancing. All of the children(and parents) I have worked with have grown dear to my heart and I have loved every one. I Read more take pride in watching them grow and learn and help them along the way just as I would for my own children. Currently I am a part time cashier at Family Dollar but my husband would prefer for me to stay home with our son. Therefore, I am very much wanting to become a full time sitter for a family as I will have a lot of free time. My son would need to come along but he is a very happy baby full of energy, love and sees everyone as his friend. I was CPR and first aid certified in the past(for lifeguard training), but would have to get it renewed. I do have a valid license, have never been in any accidents, and my own car. Once again, I would love to be able to work for you and your family! However, if I am not the person for you I understand.
