I am an upbeat twenty-three year old with lots of energy and a love for children. Although I frequently babysat throughout high school and college for numerous families in between athletics and academics, I had the pleasure of working as an afterschool care teacher and preschool teacher assistant from the fall of 2015 through the spring of 2016 after graduating from college with my Biology degree. While I have always worked well with children, this position in particular allowed me to gain a new type of experience in a classroom setting, facilitating homework time, group activities, and outdoor play for anywhere between 12 and 20 children, ages 6-8. Additionally, I currently work for a family this summer as a nanny for 2 children, ages 4 and 6. As a former lifeguard and future nurse, I am certified in CPR and First Aid.
