I became a caregiver because working with children is where my heart is at. I am currently working on achieving my college education at MSU Moorhead in the Elementary Education program. Working with children makes my days go by faster and a lot more stress free. Seeing the joy, laughter, and energy that children possess are what keep me going. I have worked with children for more than five years now, I started off babysitting my own cousins and then worked my way to family friends and many more. The past years I have obtained my Certified Nursing Assistant licence and I also carry with my experience the ability to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants. I also have the ability to use an AED on all ages as well. Child safety is my number one priority for being a caregiver. Giving children the world is an amazing opportunity. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with special needs children, I have a cousin who possesses ADHD, and I have become very patient when having to adapt to their life styles. I understand that children with special needs need just as much if not more love than children without special needs. However, all children need as much love and attention as they can get in order for their childhood to fully bloom throughout their adolescent years. Being patient, understanding, energetic, willing to learn, entertain, and spend time with children are my number one priorities when it comes to providing care to children of all ages. I am also a firm believer in more outside time and stimulating games then TV and video games.
