Hi! I'm Dani. I'm 25. I'm in my 2nd year of teaching, and I love it. Enriching children's lives is my greatest passion in life. I learned of my passion for teaching through coaching gymnastics. I did that for about 10 years, and continue to sub when needed. I work with students of all ages. The gym that I teach at provides classes for children with special needs, so I have gained experience from that as well. I used to babysitting as a means of extra money. I take it seriously, but also I love to do it! I hope to buy a home in the near future. I have been babysitting since before I can even remember. I should not fail to mention that I am a Christian. I will show your children the same love that Christ has shown me, but I will not impose my beliefs or Read more judgment on a child if they have not been raised up the same way as I have. I am fun, energetic, playful, and goofy. I usually bring a fun activity along with me to each babysitting job. As far as discipline is concerned, I will do my best to gain the respect of your child so that they will obey what I ask them to do. I would never spank or yell at a child. If problems arise, I will choose a punishment that fits the crime to the best of my abilities. As far as educational activities goes, I love reading to children, and I often ask them what they are learning in school. I find it interesting to see the academic level of different children in various grades. I will then proceed to quiz the child, playfully, over what they have told me that they are working on (i.e. if the child is working on multiplication I might say what it two times two). Also, I am willing to work on anything a parent might ask me to work on with their child. Just so that it is clear.
