Meet Natalie

I grew up with five siblings on a farm. After high school I spent a summer working at a daycare center and absolutely loved it. I have always been taught to be patient and considerate and it’s made me a natural caregiver at heart. After getting my BSc in Anthropology from Towson University in Maryland I took a year off to teach English in Turkey. I taught Kindergarten through 7th grade (ages 4-12) and had an average of 12 students per class. Although these children only spoke Turkish, I gradually recognized that I am still able to communicate with them through the shared goal of learning. I then moved to London to do a year-long master’s program which I have had to complete virtually from home this summer. This gave me the opportunity to assist with babysitting my niece (age three) and nephew (age one and a half) since I’ve Read more been back. I am very empathetic to the stressful situation parents have been put into during this pandemic, and would appreciate the chance to act as a positive influence on your children while allowing you to feel comfortable while you’re away.
