I have loved children and animals ever since I was a young child myself. I started volunteering at Iron Stone farms when I was in 8th grade working with physically and mentally disabled children and teaching them to ride horses and using the connections they made with the horses and the staff as therapy. I also interned in my high schools GCP student program for two year working with mentally disabled children in a school setting and helping them not only with their school work and learning but also to fit in and learn to socialize and make friends. I have a 3 year old daughter of my own and a disabled mother with Multiple Sclerosis who I have been assisting for many years. Although I don't have any fancy diplomas or certifications I am a down to earth, responsible, and hard working mother.
