My name is Nicole Tuzinski. I am a 24 years old and a soon to be license professional clinician counselor in the state of Maine. I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I'm currently working with an organization called Connections for Kids. I work with children as young as age 3 to 20 years of age. I'm a Behavioral Health Professional that works in the community and within the school. I typically help develop effective strategies to help children and families manage mental health symptoms, and function better in home. I have worked with children with serious emotional and mental health issues as well as special needs youth. With my job I have been certified in safety care such as CPR. Additionally, through my job I also provide academic assistants to children to advance levels of behavioral, emotion and academic support within the school or classroom. Read more I'm originally from Pennsylvania and have 2 younger sisters. As the oldest child I grew up babysitting them throughout high school. Also, growing up the oldest in a big Irish and Polish family I had my fair share of babysitting younger cousins. I must say I'm naturally really good with kids. So, Why am I looking for a babysitting position/job? Well, with a master degree comes loan payments! Believe me, the bill come quick. I have a true passion for helping others and truly enjoy working with kids. But I must say the career field I chose may have a huge reward factor, it lacks the financial factor. That's why I thought to myself why not look for an additional job that I can get some extra money and still enjoy at the same time!
