I started sitting when I was twelve years old, and have spent the last nine years babysitting and caring for children in some way or another. I have cared for children as young as eight months and adults as old as ninety. I have cared for as many as six children at one time. I am currently finishing up my English Teaching bachelor's degree at the University of New Hampshire (one more week!). I also work full-time as a substitute teacher. I love my job, and oddly love teaching both high school and preschool-aged children. When I'm not substitute teaching, I am an intern in a high-school Creative Writing classroom. The other preschool teachers love that I am "hands-on" with the kids, and really get down on their level. I read them stories, play with trains and blocks and puzzles, and help them with their snacks. They love that I design lessons based on the things they care about.
