Hello! My name is Heidi. I'm 24 years old and I'm from Rochester, NY. I'm a senior at Southern New Hampshire University and my major is Elementary Education. I have gotten a background check through my university in order to go out into school's to do my observation hours. I have completed over 100 hours for my major in primary and elementary classrooms. I worked this past summer at a day camp as a counselor at Camp Sisol, in upstate NY. The children in my unit were going into Kindergarten (ages 4-5 years old). I have experience, from camp, with children who have food allergies/dietary needs (nuts, dairy free, vegan etc.). I also know how to use an Epi-Pen. I've babysat cousins, friends, and neighbors children for about 5 years. I volunteered in Ghana for two weeks this summer and worked with the children in an orphanage (ages 2-8).
