Currently, I am entering my Junior year at Keene State College as an Elementary Education major and plan to be a teacher upon graduation. I have have had extensive experience with children of all ages.Most recently, this past summer, I was a Lead Counselor at the Hockomock YMCA in Foxboro, Massachusetts. This enabled me to become familiar with the philosophy and operations of the Y organization and the services it provides to children and families. Prior to that, for several summers, I was a Unit Leader, Lifeguard, and After Care Coordinator at our family owned day camp, Sharon Country Day, in Sharon, Massachusetts, which we recently closed after 51 years due to the passing of my grandfather who was the Owner/Director. I absolutely love working with children, especially pre school, and am very sensitive to their needs as well as their emotional and social development.
