I'm a mom of an adventurous 10-year-old boy and have done childcare for over 18 years. I have worked with all ages including teenagers as a youth group leader. My last position at a child care facility, where I started in the infant room, worked in the preschool room, was a the lead teacher in the 1-year-old room. I am a big believer in play based curriculum, where teaching is based on children's interested and often includes nature. I love arts and crafts, and using many different types of manipulatives to make art. I am currently working on my early childhood education degree through Community College of Vermont and am CPR & First aid certified.
