I am the proud mother of three amazing young men. The youngest is 22, oldest 30, and grandmother to 3 incredible grandchildren between the ages of 9 months and 5 1/2 years. I began babysitting for neighbors and friends of my parents at the young age of 10. While putting myself through college, my work experiences always involved children. I taught religious education and realized that I wanted to teach elementary aged children. Prior to that, I took the 2 year preschool courses at my local high school and worked with preschool children during school hours for 2 hours a day, every other week and at a local daycare center after school and during the summer. During my college years, I was a summer camp director of a local YMCA and a playground supervisor. In the evenings, I was an assistant in the Children's Dept. at the local library. I Read more volunteered at the Plus Company in Nashua. I am now retired after 30 years in education as both an elementary teacher and administrator. I retired young, so that I can spend quality time with my family. However, I still have so much to give and want to share my love of children while supporting parents. I hold 4 current NH Education, Certifications spec. Educ./LD/Elem/Admin. We have always had pets in our family, so petting sitting and caring for family pets is a plus for me, not a concern or issue. I am a natural organizer and planner as well. Those closets, back rooms and playrooms can be user friendly and organized.
