I am a 23 year old soon to be college graduate. In the long run I would like to go back to school to get my master's in nursing. However, I want to take a few years to save money and pay off some of my student debt. I currently am a part time nanny for a family of 5 with 3 children (2 year old girl, 6 year old boy, 8 year old girl). Oh and you can't forget their pet bunny Snowflake! I also have spent the past three summers working as a summer camp counselor, one year of which I was on the leadership team. I worked with mainly 7-9 year old boys and girls at camp. These experiences made me realize that I wouldn't be happy with a career where I couldn't work with children. Eventually I will plan to become a pediatric nurse, but until then I would love the opportunity to help a family in need and create a special and lasting bond with their children. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED for infants, children, and adults. I grew up playing sports, so I love to get kids active, but I also am in touch with my creative/artistic side as well. In addition to my childcare experience, I also have worked for a cleaning company, and enjoy spending time in the kitchen, so household chores are no problem. I consider myself very organized and tidy, and think that managing time well is key!
