My name is Lacie Therrien, I am 22 and I have been caring for children longer than I've been doing most things. I began at age 14 and have had a love for it ever since. I've been watching for two families for nearly eight years now and have provided care for many since. I was previously employed at the New London Early Learning Center where had sometimes up to 12 children in my care on my own, I worked in both the toddler and the pre-school classrooms. I am comfortable watching newborns to age 12. I have no problem following a families set of rules or certain lifestyle. I am happy to drive children to events as long as car seats or booster seats are provided, if needed. Whether it's occasional or full time care I hope to build long lasting relationships, I have had the pleasure of seeing babies and toddlers grow into elementary schoolers and pre-teens, and it's a marvelous thing! I am an animal lover of all sorts, so I would be happy to provide care for animals as well! I will say my only fear is arachnids, I respect peoples love for them but the are just not for me. I am comfortable with most special needs situations, after all kids have special needs really, and they are all just as much fun to love!
