I am a recent graduate from UNH as a recreational therapy major. I love to be active and playful and enjoy the outdoors, sports and arts and crafts. I am a caring person with a lot of experience working with chidren. I was a camp counselor for my towns recreation program for about 6 summers. I volunteered there for 2 years as a counselor in training before I became a counselor. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old for families in my hometown. I became a babysitting for the Mount Washington Hotel and Resort in Bretton Woods NH, when I was 15 years old and still babysit there on Holidays and special events. I also worked as a kids camp counselor at the hotel. I worked for an after school program for 2 years and have been a subsititute teaching since 2009. In Fall of 2011, I volunteered with the UNH Therapuetic Riding Program for kids with disabilities and Spring of 2012 I did my practicum with North East Passage's TREK(Therapeutic Recreation Empowering Kids) Program. In Decemeber 2013, I completed a 14 week internship at NHH Hospital in Concord NH. New Hampshire Hospital is a psychiatric hospital and I worked on the pediatric unit. I am CPR and first Aid certified.
